I received a B.S. degree in Foods & Nutrition with an emphasis in business from The University of Texas at Austin.  I have 4 years experience in food service as a junior high school cafeteria manager and then as a restaurant manager in a department store.  I also taught food service sanitation at the local community college.  As President of the Dallas Dietetic Association and an avid cook and hostess, I started a gourmet club that has continued to meet bi-monthly for the last thirty years.  I also have 20 years experience in accounting and office management for several types of companies, including a cattle company.  Recently, I have had experience in rental property renovations and management, and in retail sales.  I will be the Innkeeper and General Manager.
